31. Janet SMITH was born in 1833 in Tarbolton.(32) She appeared on the census in 1851 in 'Braehead', Kilmaurs.(33) Described as aged 18 years and unmarried. She appeared on the census in 1861.(34) Described as living at Braehead. Had son called Hugh, unsure of which husband the father.

She was married to J. SMITH.

She was married to R. MCFARLAND.
