79. Rev. Philip WHITEFOORD was born on 9 Oct 1850 in Burford, Shropshire, England. He appeared on the census in 1881 in Ledbury, Hereford, England. (15) Described as the Rector of Aylton & Chaplainn To Ledby Union, aged 30, unmarried born in "...ford", Shropshire, England . Phillip was lodging with the Owen family of New St, Ledbury.
He was a Rector of Whitton, Salop between 1891 and 1899. sometime Chaplin at Stuttgart. He was a Rector of Rand with Fulnetby, Lancs. between 1909 and 1919. He died on 21 Apr 1935. He was educated in Merlon College, Oxford. Privately.

He was married to Gertrude Relton HARDING (daughter of Thomas HARDING of Elvetham, Hants and Maria RELTON) on 16 May 1893. Rev. Philip WHITEFOORD and Gertrude Relton HARDING had the following children:
