55. Caleb WHITEFOORD F.R.S.(1784), F.S.A. of London Portrait was born in 1734. He died on 4 Feb 1810. He was educated in Edinburgh, University. Intimate friend of Benjamin Franklin --Secretary to the British Commissioners during the Treaty of Paris (1783 -7) where peace was arranged between America and Great Britain thus bringing to a close the American War of Independence.
He was married to Mary SIDDAY on 21 Jan 1800 in Saint
Martin In The Fields, Westminster, London, England.
